About Us

Mirth & Meadow began with our son and his chunky feet.

Like many parents, we struggled to find shoes that actually fit him. Most kids’ shoes were narrow, stiff, and didn’t allow growing feet to move naturally. That search led us to barefoot shoes, and we quickly fell in love with their wide toe boxes, flexible soles, and focus on healthy foot development.

With years of experience in leather working, I decided to apply my craft to create the kind of children’s shoes we wished existed. Together, my wife and I started Mirth & Meadow to make thoughtfully designed, handcrafted barefoot shoes that support natural movement and everyday adventure.

Simple, intentional, and made for little feet to roam.
